We have received many great proposals from scholars all over the country. Thank you for your interest in the Healthcare Quality Scholars Program.
In order to expedite the selection of candidates for the Healthcare Quality Scholars Program, we require that you submit a one-page proposal and if selected, we will require that you expand the previously submitted one-page proposal to a three-page prospectus not including references.
Requirements:
1) A one-page proposal. This should include: a) introduction & statement of the problem; b) Research hypotheses including outcomes (dependent variables), predictors and covariates (control/nuisance variables); c) Analysis techniques (e.g., 2x2 tables, logistic regression, etc.), and d) Significance of the study.
2) Cover letter
3) CV
4) Full proposal (Submit only if the previously submitted one-page proposal was selected.) The full proposal should expand the previously submitted one-page proposal to a three-page prospectus not including references.
Key dates:
One-page submission: Sept 28, 2009
Notification of review results: October 9, 2009
Three-page expanded proposal submission: November 9, 2009
Notification of final decisions: Around December 7th, 2009
Program dates: From January 15, 2010 to November 14th, 2010
